NFL playoffs 2019: Chiefs guard Jeff Allen gifts tickets to homeless man who helped him in snow | NFL

Jeff Allen nearly missed Saturday’s game against the Colts, but had a good Samaritan help get him there.

The Chiefs guard took to Twitter early Sunday morning to share his story about his commute to the team’s divisional round meeting, saying his car got stuck in the snow and that a man named Dave helped him dig out.

However, Allen wasn’t recognized by the man and didn’t get his information.

With a little help and a lot of shares, Allen confirmed Sunday afternoon that he was able to track the man down and award him with the tickets he promised to the conference championship as a token of his appreciation.

According to KSHB-TV in Kansas City, the man is homeless and lives in his car.

Kansas City outlasted Indianapolis, 31-13.

The Chiefs will take on the winner of Sunday’s divisional round game between the Patriots and Chargers when Arrowhead Stadium hosts its first AFC Championship game next weekend.
